Dampers

Dampers act as a filter for the ink traveling to the head. If you are getting nozzle dropout that is randomly displaced on a test print, a damper may have become partially clogged and needs to be replaced. It's a good idea to keep a few of these on hand as overtime the filter will become blocked with minute particulate matter in the ink.

This taller damper is used on some of the larger Mimaki JV3 models since it holds more ink and will prevent dropout from ink starvation. JV3 250SPF printers and converted JV3 250SP printers require this taller sized damper. If you have an older JV3 250SP printer that has not been converted to use this size please purchase the regular sized damper for the JV3. (We typically stock this product in Las Vegas.
